Gym Etiquette

OK can I just say seriously what are people thinking sometimes........sorry if that's a little harsh, I guess I'm annoyed. I apologize if your one of those who go to the gym to socialize because I'm not. I like to get in do my thing and get out. Obviously it's nice to run in to people you might know every now and then but to make it your social event like happy hour is just plain weird. It can be a little entertaining to watch those who do go to the gym and spend a total of 5 minutes actually working out and spending the other hour or two (I'm never at the gym that long but I suspect) walking around and chatting. There's this one guy(not a meat head) at my gym who I see every night (I don't go to the gym every night) and I have never actually seen him work out. He stands around looks at the machines then finds someone he knows and talks to for 20 minutes. Then it starts all over again. I don't know why he bothers me so much but for some reason he does. Why waste your money on a gym membership (not cheap) if you don't work out.
There's also a woman (younger 20 something) who I purposly won't work out next to. I have found the few times I have picked a machine (the eliptical is my fave) and happend to be right next to her she spends the whole time glancing at my mine.I swear she is trying to compete with me or something. Keep your eyes on your own flippin machine and mind your own beeswax! Oh and remember to wipe off your machines when your finished.....PLEASE!!!!!! HONESTLY GROSS!!!!!
I'm not even going to comment on gym attire but honestly the things people wear and the amount of makeup....seriously people.

The Couple I love.....

I love Giuliana & Bill Rancic...seriously they are the cutest couple ever! Yesterday
Giuliana shared the news that she was battling the early stage of breast cancer. If you have followed this couple like I have then you know they have a t.v. show on Style.com as well as Giuliana being the co-host of E news. After struggling to get pregnant and trying IVF a number of times Giuliana & Bill decided to give it 1 more shot only this time the doctor recommended her getting a momogram first...long story short Giuliana found she has early stage breast cancer. How freaken scary!!!!I am sad for her and Bill .seriously they can't catch a break...
Remember it is Breast Cancer awareness month so remember to get yourselves checked out!!!!

It's cooling down folks

Happy Monday all! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Ours was very nice. Both Dustin and I were able to see my mom and his dad. My mom and I went to lunch at Q Cumber- Love that place...and then did a little shopping. Dustin's dad brought us wood for our fireplac and spent the afternoon visiting. I imagine we will be using our fireplace sooner than later. The weather man says it is going to cool down this week and possible even get a few snow flurries tomorrow night. Sooo not ready for SNOW!!!!! Other than that just did a lot of relaxing and cleaning around the house. I'm going to try and be better at blogging this week. I have a few new topics I'm excited to share. Stay warm all!

Thoughts on a new camera......

Does anyone know about SLR cameras? I have been thinking for a while now that I want to purchase a new camera but there are so many to pick from out there I don't know where to begin. I know friends who use both Nikon and Canon and they would say they like either one better so how do you know????? Here are a few I have been looking at. Help me out PLEASE!!!!!
